When Eva Longoria's Desperate Housewives character is tied to the bed by her husband, she excitedly believes she's in for a wild night.
In the latest episode of the popular show, a lingerie-clad Gabrielle Solis is thrilled when husband Carlos decides to spice up proceedings with a little light S&M.


Since Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) recently landed a high-paying business job, frustrated housewife Gabrielle has found their sex life has ground to a halt because her husband is too tired.

However, cunning Carlos has other ideas and decides to play along, suggesting they spice things up even more with some light bondage.
Gabrielle is thrilled when Carlos ties her to the bed, believing her unwitting abstinence is about to come to an end.

However, Carlos plants an innocent kiss on her mouth and informs her he's going to another bedroom.
The mother-of-two has been desperately trying to revive their bedroom activities and has been reminding Carlos of sexier times in their romantic past.

One reminiscence turns horribly wrong when Gaby recalls the time they had sex on the dining table... only to be reminded by Carlos the incident took place with her former teenage lover John, played by Jesse Metcalfe in the first season of Desperate Housewives.

In the latest episode, which was screened in the U.S. on Sunday, Gabrielle decides to splash out on some sexy lingerie in a bid to tempt her husband into bed after a long hiatus from bedroom activities.

Refusing to take no for an answer, Gabrielle shoves exhausted Carlos onto the bed and begins to undress him.

However, cunning Carlos has other ideas and decides to play along, suggesting they spice things up even more with some light bondage.

Gabrielle is thrilled when Carlos ties her to the bed, believing her unwitting abstinence is about to come to an end.

However, Carlos plants an innocent kiss on her mouth and informs her he's going to another bedroom.

He said: 'I'm going to grab a couple of hours sleep before I've got to get back to work.'

Carlos leaves the room with a sexually-frustrated Gabrielle is left screaming in anger on the bed.

Meanwhile, as Gabrielle's lovelife is crashing and burning, Nicollette Sheridan's character Edie Britt is in a real crash.

After weeks of investigating her mysterious husband Dave Williams (Neal McDonough), Edie finds out he wants to move back to Wisteria Lane to get revenge on Mike Delfino (James Denton).

Edie discovered Dave had a wife Lila and daughter Paige, who were killed in the car accident with Mike and Susan (Teri Hatcher) several years earlier.

When she confronts Dave, Edie demands to know the truth, asking: 'Did you move us here to hurt Mike Delfino?'

After Edie reaches for the phone to warn Mike of Dave's intentions, her husband snaps and tries to throttle his wife.

She manages to escape and flees Dave to her car.
Clearly disorientated after nearly being strangled by Dave, Edie's driving is erratic and she is heading straight for Orson Hodge (Kyle MacLachlan), who is crossing the road.

Edie swerves to avoid knocking down Orson and crashes into an electric post.

She manages to survive the accident, but is unaware the electrical post has snapped and she steps out of the car and is electrocuted when she stands straight in a pool of water.

She falls to the ground, leaving viewers uncertain of whether she is dead or alive.

Nicollette announced last month she would be leaving Desperate Housewives after five years on the show.

The 45-year-old's representative said: 'She had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project.'
