Skin Two USA: Two great parties coming up in July

Every July Secretroom.net  hosts two parties here in Atlanta called Skin Two. This event is widely popular, and you might have heard of it before. But some might be asking, "What is Skin Two?"



Skin Two is an online fetish and BDSM magazine. Skin Two Clothing is a line of latex, rubber, and pvc clothing. But it is Rubberball, Skin Two's fetish event that takes place this year from December 11-13, that gives us the excuse to party.

Skin Two got its roots as a small underground fetish club in London back in 1983. This club paved the way for the modern underground club events that we have today. It attracted so many visitors that they began to host an event called the Skin Two Rubberball Weekend. Rubberball is the world's most famous BDSM/fetish event.

Since not everyone can make it to the U.K. for Rubberball, they host events in Australia, Germany, and the USA. Here in the USA, the Skin Two  parties are placed in the capable hands of Jsin and Secretroom.net, hosting two parties in Atlanta and one in Tampa. The Atlanta parties are scheduled for Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18. Both events will be held at different locations and have different themes, so you definitely want to check out both nights.

This year's parties have themes. Friday night is a fairytale ball, while Saturday has a medical theme. Saturday night is the bigger party of the two, and will have a fashion show featuring latex clothing designers Babyloveslatex and Ceres Moon Latex. Both of these designers have amazing designs, and the show will definitely be a treat. Babyloveslatex takes custom orders so that the fit is perfect; Ceres Moon offers women's sizes 0 to 24W including petite and tall, and men's sizes XS to XXXXL including tall.

The parties will also have special guests by fetish models Jade Vixen of NYC and Eden Wells of LA. There will also be a bondage room lead by Will of the Whip Society, erotic art shows, and vendors.

Between Skin Two's international fame, and people in sexy latex clothing, this event is really a must-attend. The energy at these parties is really great and almost more relaxed than other nights.

While many people will be wearing dressed in latex, if you don't have latex, rubber, or pvc, don't worry! Of course if you do have this kind of clothing, this is THE weekend to wear it. But as long as you try to dress up, your effort will be appreciated. You can either dress per theme, fairytale Friday or medical Saturday, or just wear your normal fetish/club outfit. You get bonus points if your outfit is both latex and per theme! But it isn't a strict dress code. Last year a few Stormtroopers showed up to the Saturday night party! So feel free to have fun with your outfit.

Friday night's party will take place at Bam Art Space located at 1540 Monroe Dr. from 10pm to 3am. The cover is $20 in fantasy/fetish/goth, and no street clothes will be allowed. Saturday night the party is at the Jungle, 2115 Faulkner Rd. The cover is $15 for 21+ in medical/fetish/goth and $20 for 18-20 and 21+ in street clothes.

Note: In regards to Friday night's dress code, I want to note that it has been a while since I have seen a club that didn't allow street clothes, but don't stress out about it too much. Just make an effort, even if it's face make-up or a collar! I don't think they will turn anyone away unless they look like a total frat boy, but that's just my opinion!
