You've got to hand it to
ForgetDinner.co.uk. For being a 'casual online dating site' for people looking to get laid, they wisely present themselves in a light, flirty way, making the idea of going online to find a one-night stand seem rather appealing.
Click here to see what we mean. (But don't forget there's still a chance you won't want to do the person you meet - the unfortunate risk with any kind of online dating.)

Since you're not taking this 'date' to dinner, how about taking them to the Resistance Gallery to learn about Japanese Rope Bondage? Or if you prefer a more, shall we say, hands-on approach, there's a workshop on Saturday to learn how to do it yourself. Just visit this site to find out about events happening at the First London
Festival of the Art of Japanese Rope Bondage.
Eat
Conran is back, this time with
Lutyens on Fleet Street. It's a restaurant, bar and members club serving all three meals and all-day bar food. The restaurant is named for the architect who designed the building, which formerly housed Reuters. You'll find French food with an Irish influence, sushi, a charcuterie bar, and because this is the City, four private dining rooms.
Drink
While G'Day UK may be a bit on the dry side (aimed at getting businesses to come to Australia), there are some great consumer activities, mostly centered around wine.
Selfridge's Wonderbar is dispensing a wide selection by the glass, and their wine shop will have special deals. On Tuesday the 30th, £17.50 will get you a ticket to taste 100 of Australias best wines at
Australia House. An international good deal - regardless of the exchange rate.

Le Café Anglais is starting a Scrabble Club, which will meet this Thursday the 2nd of July. Entrants pay £50 and get a cocktail, two rounds at a four-person table, a two-course meal, then two more rounds of Scrabble. Prizes will include champagne and £500 worth of vouchers.
