POP favourite Ricki-Lee Coulter plays a dominatrix and delivers a spanking to former Gold Coast Titans footy star Daniel Conn in a cheeky video for her new single Hear No, See No, Speak No.


Gold Coast-reared Coulter, a Titans fan herself, says she's always had a bit of a crush on Conn, who joins the Sydney Roosters in 2010.

"When his name came up as someone I could work with, well, naturally I said yes.

"Then the first chance I get to meet him, I'm taking him hostage and interrogating him. I didn't exactly show him my sweet side," she laughs.
Coulter says donning thigh-high boots, fishnets and corset, completing her ensemble with a black riding crop was just like 'playing dress-ups'.

"It was so much fun. It's not every day you wear an ensemble like that. In between shots, I'd be saying 'can someone undo this corset so I can breath?' "

The clip, filmed in Sydney's old Ritz Carlton Hotel, a celebrity haunt, now closed for business, debuts show Channel 10's Video Hits today, with the single coming out on Monday week.

Coulter says the song was her own cheeky take on the 'hear no, see no, speak no evil' proverb.

"Considering where I'd been in my personal life, I knew I couldn't come back and deliver an album about sunshine and happiness," says Coulter of the trip which followed her separation from husband Jamie Babbington.

"The album comes from a real place, based on the road I've travelled as a young woman. I know I married too young and I ended up in a dishonest place as a result of that."
