Ashley Greene may play the the cheery, upbeat, good-girl vampire in “Twilight” and “New Moon,” but she knows how to bring the heat. Her latest photo shoot sets hearts - and loins - afire.
Greene, unfortunately, takes a back seat to Kristen Stewart in the vampire saga, and doesn’t really get to show off her star power in the films. But she’s been making up for it by doing some “look-at-me” photo spreads.
They include an unauthorized release of private nude photos that went viral on the Internet until her legal dogs pulled them back.
More recently, she energized a SoBe energy drink commercial by posing nude in body paint.
But her latest spread in Interview magazine shows yet another facet of her personality - her steamy sultriness.
The enticing spread, with just a hint of sado-masochism, has leading lady written all over her. And, she’s smart!
Just ask her an utterly stupid question like “New Moon” co-star Michael Sheen did in the accompanying Interview Q&A, and see what happens.
“As an elf, raised by humans, have you found a lot of discrimination against the fairy folk here in Hollywood?” Sheen quizzed.
“Well, I think they’re just jealous that I sparkle and speak elfin and have cute little pointy ears,” she replied. Clever girl!
Greene was studying law and psychology in a magnet program at high school, but one acting class sealed the deal. She headed for Hollywood at 17 to pursue acting.
As for “Twilight, “It was just another audition,” she says.
“I figured out there wasn’t a script or a breakdown, but there was a book. So I got the series and fell in love with it. Then that determination kicked in and I was like, Okay, I’m going to book this part is what’s going to happen. I worked my butt off for it,” she says.
She’s got that right. Ashley is not afraid of being the hardest working actress in show business, and one look at these photos shows she’ll do what it takes to make it - big.
