Lady Gaga 'bares her soul' in bondage-themed music video

Lady Gaga debuts a new bondage look in her latest music video, in which she writhes around and simulates sex in an S&M-themed routine for new single Alejandro.


In other scenes, she pays homage to Madonna by wearing a cone bra with gun barrels attached to the cups and swallowing rosary beads.
References to Madonna are scattered throughout the video - perhaps due to the influence of director Steven Klein, a fashion photographer noted for his work with the Vogue singer.

He said the idea was to "express Lady Gaga's desire to reveal her heart and bare her soul".

The video temporarily crashed Gaga's website when it premiered earlier today, according to reports.

The singer, 24, recently said that the new track reflects her relationship with her gay friends and described it as "a celebration and an admiration of gay love".

She added: "[The song] confesses my envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together.

"In the video, I'm pining for the love of my gay friends, but they just don't want me to be with them."
