Many people are turned on by both the idea, and the sensation of physically restrained before or during sex. So if you have fantasies of being dominated, why dont you introduce a few of these elements in your bedroom.
Just be careful: there are rules for this sort of sex play and they are there for your health and safety. So obey them!
Dont let a stranger tie you up.
Never leave a bound person alone.
Always have a safe word (or a song to hum if youre gagged).
Check the restraints often (squirming etc can tighten the ropes).
Ensure theres enough room for circulation. (When the limbs change colour or gets cold untie immediately).
Have a pair of scissors handy for emergencies.
Self bondage is dangerous and people die from it every year, so dont go there.
Certain positions (like being hog-tied) may lead to asphyxiation and should be done with extreme care.
Never tie a rope around someones neck.
What youll need:
A rope/ sash/ tie/ belt or cuffs. Silk is extremely difficult to untie, so dont use your favourite scarf as you might need to cut it loose. Also, when you use handcuffs, make sure you have the keys. Unless phoning the fire department is part of the fantasy.
A willing partner. If you want to be tied up you need someone with a dominant streak and if you want to tie someone up, it works best with a submissive person. And choose someone you trust. You might like the idea of being at the mercy of a stranger, but its not fun if he kills/tortures/rapes you.
If youre really into the tying up part, a book with different types of knots might be helpful. There are literally hundreds of different variations and techniques.
