DETROIT USA- Wednesday evening at Blondies, brought about a lusty musical climax. The Sextreme Ball came through town featuring headliners Lords of Acid, and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, with special guests Blownload and DJ Deathwish of vampirefreaks.com. Also, what Sextreme Ball would be complete without a resplendent bondage show?


The main attraction of the evening; Lords of Acid took the stage during the witching hour and rocked Blondies into a steamy and tantric frenzy. It was definitely worth the wait to see them in this hour of night. The new line-up that Praga Khan has whipped and binded together brings back the lucid sexuality that they are known for. On vocals Lacey Connor (former contestant on Rock of Love) played the role of sex kitten in sextreme fashion, with the other key players being former Ministry/RevCo guitarist Sin Quirin, bass player M3 (Powerman 5000) and Kirk Salvador on drums (ex-Society One).

The evening was an industrial and fantasy induced musical evening where the people watching was a carnival for your viewing pleasure. The kaleidoscope of fashion ranged from steam punk, to head to toe latex, to girls in corsets, to bondage gear, to the average Joe in jeans and a t-shirt, and everything in between. If you made it out to the show you had one hell of a visual and auditory ride. For those who weren't there we'll leave the rest to your imagination...
