TORONTO- A burly hit-man scoffed at suggestions he would provide kinky sexual services for hire - along with a plot to kill a multi-millionaires wife - when he visited a dominatrixs lair, an Ontario Superior Court jury heard Friday.
Kerry Bob Anderson maintained he secretly audio-taped the Jan. 14, 2004, meeting with dominatrix Sandra Rinella and her client Alex Petraitis to extort money from the wealthy entrepreneur. Petraitis wanted his long-time wife killed by Anderson, court heard.
You were there to engage in sexual fantasies, suggested defence lawyer Eddie Greenspan, who represents Petraitis.
You have a heck of an imagination, Mr. Greenspan, but I would say no, replied Anderson.
Rinella told you that Alex wanted to be tied up and dominated by a big, bad biker, suggested Greenspan.
Anderson, a former biker and convicted killer, denied it.
Alex had a sexual fantasy involving you - thats what she told you, Greenspan stated.
I dont remember her saying that and Im pretty sure I would, said Anderson.
Greenspan showed a photo of a male model wearing a similar diaper to the one Petraitis wore during the January 2004 meeting.
Its similar but it looked more like a toga. I didnt stare at it, replied Anderson.
Greenspan had said the trio were engaged in sexual fantasy role-playing, not a serious murder-for-hire plot.
At the diaper meeting, Anderson taped for only 16 minutes, but he told police the meeting lasted up to 90 minutes. The balance was unrecorded.
Greenspan said Anderson never mentioned Petraitis was wearing a diaper on tape because the former biker didnt want to spoil the tape as evidence against Petraitis. The diaper would reveal the three of them were engaged in a dominatrix fantasy play, said Greenspan.
You dont mention the diaper because if you did, its good-bye tape because this has nothing to do with hiring a killer. This is all just a weird, nutty thing, asked Greenspan.
Im trying to get stuff on him killing his wife to protect myself and for extortion, replied Anderson.
The prosecution alleges Rinella and Petraitis plotted to murder Petraitis long-time wife Kirsten and counselled Anderson, a convicted killer, to murder her in 2003 and 2004.
Petraitis, 68, and Rinella, 47, pleaded not guilty to conspiring to kill his wife and counselling Anderson, 46, to commit murder.
The trial resumes Monday.
