Another trial date set for multimillionaire and dominatrix

TORONTO- Another trial date has been set for multi (m) millionaire Alex Petraitis and his former dominatrix mistress, Sandra Rinella.



The two are charged with hiring a hit man to kill Petraitis's then-wife seven years ago in an alleged murder plot that was never carried out.

In the second of two mistrials last year, a judge dismissed jurors just days before they were expected to begin deliberating.

Justice Ian Nordheimer ordered yesterday that a third trial should begin hearing evidence in January, 2012.

That will be eight years after the pair was charged.

Petraitis and Rinella are jointly charged with conspiracy and counselling to commit murder.
