UK - KINKY Brits are Europe's biggest importers of BONDAGE gear, a new study has revealed.
And we bought twice as many sexy toys in 2011 as the year before.
Sex dolls were the favourite - making up four in ten purchases and a sales increase of 240 per cent.
Brits were only out-bought by Italian and German women, a study by online marketplace Alibaba.com found.
Spokeswoman Molly Morgan linked the rise in demand to the recession as Brits look to stay in and have fun on the cheap.
She said: "The sex aid market is booming in the UK, with a large number of Brits looking for fun yet inexpensive distractions."
