Residents of Wilmslow (UK), spend more per head on whips

UK - THE home town of Corrie star Bill Roache is the bondage capital of Britain, a poll reveals.
The 30,000 residents of Wilmslow, Cheshire, spend more per head on whips, canes, handcuffs and blindfolds than anywhere else.
The finding comes after Ken Barlow actor Bill, 79, recently boasted of having bedded 1,000 women. The town is part of Chancellor George Osborne's constituency. Residents include Manchester United stars Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick while ex-Reds hero David Beckham used to live there.

Meanwhile, people in quiet Fleet, Hampshire, lash out the most on naughty knickers and sex toys. They spend double the national average on saucy outfits and triple on bondage items.
Residents splash out SIX TIMES more on spicing up their love lives than people in Sunderland, which is the UK's LEAST sexy city. Most of the sexiest areas are in the Home Counties. The figures have been compiled by online sex toy retailer lovehoney.co.uk.
It said randy couples are spending more on sex as the recession bites. They have fun in the bedroom rather than shelling out for a night on the town.
Lovehoney boss Richard Longhurst explained: "Couples can't afford to spend £100 on a big night out any more. They'd rather spend £40 with us and have a lot more excitement at home."
