UK - Looks like the bondage sex described in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' has affected men and women alike, as women who are looking to spice up their sex life are ransacking lingerie stores around the world, especially in Britain.
If one looks at the increasing sales of the bondage style undergarments, one would know that this piece of garment is surely working wonders in the bedroom.
As per a report, sales of British designer Nichole de Carle's 'Onyx' collection are up by 50 percent on the week. Also Nichole's 220 pound 'Dream Catcher' stretch silk bondage bra and coordinating briefs with play braces worth 85 pounds have been sold out as customers have been found fighting for a piece of the erotic look made famous by celebrities including Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
The store has launched its most daring and exclusive lingerie collection, 'Kinbaku' (meaning bondage in Japanese) by French designer Maxine Wattam. The collection will retail from 1,000 pounds for a jewel bra and knickers set to 3,000 pounds for a rose gold jewellery set.
"This winter S and M has gone couture," a major newspaper quoted a leading lingerie chain's Head Buyer, as saying.
"Gone are the days of bondage lingerie looking more back-street than Bond Street. To keep up with demand for lingerie with serious edge we''re about to launch our most expensive erotica yet," she added.
