UK - CAMBRIDGE - A former teacher whipped up excitement for her new fetish and bondage shop by holding a launch party.
Jen Ahrell threw the bash with her partner Kevin Gilbert at their Deviance store in Cobble Yard, off Napier Street, Market, on Friday night.
The former Netherhall School art teacher wants to cash in on the success of racy novel Fifty Shades of Grey and is selling whips and gags, masks and nurses uniforms, as well as a mens underwear range.
Mum-of-four Jen, 42, said the opening weekend had been a spanking success.
She said: Weve had a good steady stream of customers, a lot of different types of people, which is really good.
I think people are coming to check us out because they are not sure what its all about.
They have seen its not an intimidating place, its not a sex shop, its a friendly place with a lot of interesting clothes and alternative wear.
Prices at the store, near The Grafton centre, range from £22.50 for underpants to £280 for a dress.
