Brides trained in the art of bondage at St Kilda hens’ parties

AUSTRALIA - GROOMS beware: you may get a surprise on your honeymoon, with Dominatrix-themed hens nights taking St Kilda by storm.
Bondage expert Rebecca Griffin, aka Mistress Jane, is bringing her whips, paddles, floggers and ticklers to the PlayLounge nightclub, where she will share her secrets with adventurous brides-to-be.
“This hen’s party is a present to the groom as much as the bride,” Ms Griffin said.
The mother-of-two decided to turn her hobby into a business to capitalise on the public appetite for kink, as popularised by the 50 Shades of Grey series.
“No one else has been brave enough to do anything like this before,” she said.
While the sessions will include authentic BDSM techniques - that’s bondage and sadomasochism to the uninitiated - they will cater to the ordinary woman, she said.
“This is absolutely for ‘vanilla’ girls,” Ms Griffin said.
“You can come along, have a glass of champagne and a giggle about tying our men up and making them do what we want.”
Ms Griffin will have a male assistant on hand to help her demonstrate the techniques.
