UK - CAMBRIDGE - A former schoolteacher is launching Cambridges first strictly fetish bondage and pole dancing night held in a nightclub near the citys rail station.
Jen Ahrell and her partner Kev Gilbert have organised the saucy event at the Q Club in Station Road in a night of dance and music for sexy deviants.
It will feature performances by Harlow Heartbreak and the Ropesluts, DJs MissChivers and DJ Bos will be playing irresistible sets of sexy, deep, progressive house.
And there will be interactive walkabout naughtiness from Rockin Hellkat and Lizzi Stryde.
A dance pole will feature in the event organised by the former art teacher at Netherhall School Ms Ahrell who owns fetish fashion store Deviance in Cobble Yard next to The Grafton shopping centre.
There will be a dress code for the event which is described as strictly fetish wear which includes latex, leather, PVC, and corsetry.
Mr Gilbert said: This is the first time we have done this but hopefully we will make it a regular event. This sort of event is quite big in London and a lot of people in Cambridge have to go to London. Now they can have an event on their doorstep. We do say strictly fetish but I suppose it depends on what your fetish is.
The poster for the event adds: This is not a heavy BDSM (Bondage, Discipline and Sadomasochism) play event. Although we provide some equipment, the Q Club is a small venue with no separate play rooms.
The mother-of-four opened the shop to cash in on the success of racy novel Fifty Shades of Grey and is selling whips, gags, masks and nurses uniforms.
Cambridges bondage community hit international headlines after a group booked Trumpington Village Hall for a day of spanking lessons - with tea and biscuits. An itinerary was published for an event to include spanking, flogging and kink on a budget, served with tea and cakes.
The trustees of the hall said they believed their venue had been booked under false pretences and scrapped it after learning the truth from the News.
The Deviance club night is on Saturday, May 24.
