Federal investigators: Balyo kept "bondage kit" in rented locker.(videolink)

USA - PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - A former radio host accused of criminal sexual conduct with a minor had kept a "bondage kit" in a rented storage locker, according to US Immigration & Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) unit.
John Balyo worked for Christian station WCSG-FM in Grand Rapids. He was arrested Friday at a music festival in Gaylord and fired from the radio station by Saturday, after initially being placed on paid leave.
An HSI spokesman tells WZZM 13 that investigators found duct tape, handcuffs, ropes, zip-ties, and socks in Balyo's storage locker in Plainfield Township when they searched it Friday.
Balyo faces a first-degree and a second-degree CSC charge. He was arrested as part of a joint investigation by Battle Creek Police, Michigan State Police, and ICE. They were investigating Ronald Moser, a Battle Creek man accused of manufacturing and possessing child pornography and arranging a sexual encounter between Balyo and a 12-year-old boy in May. The Calhoun County prosecutor says Balyo admitted to raping the boy.
