Fifty Shades of Grey-inspired prison guard to become a DOMINATRIX
From one position of authority to another, Julie Preston made an interesting career choice after reading the raunchy novel

UK - HULL - This time last year, Julie was a prison officer. Today, she works as a £100-a-day dominatrix.
The 44-year-old, from Hull, East Yorkshire, made the change from working at a high security prison after reading the steamy bestseller
Fifty Shades of Grey.
Miss Preston, who now goes by the name Mistress Dita, got used to bossing men around, so she has taken to her new profession like a natural.
“Truth is I love being bossy,” she said.
“In prison I spent my days pacing the wings between talking to inmates in my office.
‘Stop that racket,’ I’d order, if anyone got a bit rowdy.
“They always did as I said too.”
Julie is even all signed up with the Inland Revenue in her new role.
She said: “I was determined it would all be above board.
“I don't think they'd heard of a dominatrix signing up to do their tax before.”
The former prison officer has been lucky enough to get the backing of her family in her new career choice.
She said: “I'm really proud of what I do and I'm lucky that all my family are very supportive.
"Even my mum thinks it's brilliant I get to boss men about for a living.
“I told mum I was planning to be become a dominatrix and she said to me, ‘You've always been bossy.’
“She thought it was hilarious.”
But despite being inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey, Julie has always flirted with the idea of becoming a dominatrix.
She said: “I had my first tattoo at 15 and I dye my hair all sorts of different colours.
“I do kick boxing and the people at the gym nicknamed me ‘Scary’.
“I always had the feeling that I could be doing something different and then one day I realised what that was.”
Miss Preston, who does not have
sex, with her clients, has even transformed her spare room into a dungeon.
She receives an array of odd requests from clients, from being smacked with a cane to hanging out her washing.
“They pay me for the privilege which is excellent," she said.
“It might seem a bit odd but I never judge.”
Julie says on top of her fees she also gets luxury items from her regular clients including chocolates, champagne and lingerie.
She has set herself up with a company car with her logo printed on the back.
Miss Preston, who has met Hollywood's Rupert Everett when he filmed a documentary about dominatrixes, currently charges in the region of £100 per session but says she would like to take her services abroad to Las Vegas where she could command much more.
She said: “Some people think I’m bonkers for bossing men around for a living, especially considering some of the crazy requests I get.
"But for me, it’s just another day at the office.”
