Julie Andrews, 79, says she wouldn't mind a spanking

The 79-year-old screen legend revealed at a post-Oscar party on Sunday that she wouldn't be averse to the prospect of a good spanking.
The veteran actress was chatting to Kelly Ripa when Live With Kelly And Michael host asked her if she'd seen 50 Shades Of Grey yet, to which Andrew replied in the negative.
'This is [show producer, Michael] Gelman's tribute to that movie,' Ripa told her, gesturing to an off-camera room behind a heavy red curtain, joking that they had set replicated Christian Grey's sex dungeon.
'This is the Red Room. We made a Red Room back here...We're not gonna spank anybody here,' she continued.
But The Mary Poppins star caught her interviewer off guard when she replied sounding rather disappointed in her impeccable English accent: 'I would like it if you would.'
Earlier in the evening, the actress made a surpirse appearance to present the Oscar for Best Original Score, afterthe Academy honored the 50 year anniversary of the beloved former Best Picture winner The Sound Of Music.
In a musical tribute, Lady Gaga took to the stage and belted out a medley from the musical, including The Sound of Music, My Favourite Things, Edelweiss, and Climb Every Mountain.
The newly engaged singer - dressed in a cascading white gown that was surely a practice run for her wedding dress - received a standing ovation from the A-list crowd tightly packed into Hollywood's Dolby Theatre.
And the applause continued when the original Fraulein Maria Von Trapp emerged onstage to embrace her
'Dear Lady Gaga, thank you for that wonderful tribute,' she said. 'It really warmed my heart. It's hard to believe that 50 years have gone by since that joyous film was released. I blinked and then suddenly here I am.
'I think that I do speak for everyone connected with the movie when I say we all really felt blessed to have been a part of it. And as for me, well, how lucky can a girl get?
