Giant glitter-spraying penis stars in Norwegian sex education advert

NORWAY - Well that's one way to get people's attention: Norwegian sexual health charity hires man in giant penis costume to creep up on unsuspecting members of the public and spray them with golden confetti
A nineteen-year-old in Norway has been hired by a sexual health charity to play a giant penis in a bid to tackle Norway's high STD infection rate.
“I thought it was hilarious. If I can help others, just by being a dick, there is nothing better,” Philip van Eck, the man inside the penis costume, told Norway’s Tønsberg Blad newspaper.

Almost 23,000 Norwegians contract chlamydia every year, but according to sex education charity RFSU, are less likely to use a condom than their Nordic neighbours.
With the tagline "Penis can surprise you", the campaign features a giant penis creeping up on people in parks and cafés and spraying them with a golden shower of confetti.

The video is targetted at 16-25 year-olds and is deliberately silly.
"This is a group that is not swayed by lecturing, facts or scaremongering, says Christina Placht from RFSU.
It remains to be seen whether giant penises are better communicators.
